Happy American Independence Day! With this new Frontiers mix, they're officially going on a regular upload schedule - I'll be releasing new ones the first Sunday of every month.

Following the same trend as last month's mix, this one builds to a huge crescendo before resolving into a calm, mellow conclusion. It's a very enjoyable ride to the end with a great mix of new and older tracks.

Frontiers #18 - June 2021

 

There's some absolutely sublime progressive tracks in this mix, and in my opinion some of the best transitions I've pulled off. The mix itself seems to be split pretty evenly into 3 sections: more traditional progressive house, darker stuff, then finally some light, airy, pleasant music to tie things off.

Somehow, I managed to squeeze 14 tracks into this one (instead of the usual 12). It starts off with some wonderful progressive breaks before leading into some deeper progressive house and techno, then builds into a nice climax that I'm sure you've all come to expect from my mixes by now.

Another September mix! Getting my hands on the intro mix of Nox Vahn & Marsh's track "Come Together" inspired me to whip one up.

This one's a bit more traditional progressive house all the way through. The first half is relaxing and melodic as usual, while the second half gets some nice, rhythmic grooves going. It's a treat all the way through (not that I'm biased or anything).

Frontiers #11 - August 2020

 

The first half of this August mix is again one of my favorite runs. Every transition is perfectly seamless and the songs all go together perfectly, as if they were made for each other.

 

This one in particular features some intense progressive house and techno in parts of it, even if it never breaks past 128bpm. It's a pretty fun exercise getting the more relaxed side of "progressive" music to coexist and interweave with the more energetic stuff, and I really feel that I'm starting to refine and nail down the sort of "sound" that I'm going for.
